Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Daniel Grant, trading as Personal Trainer Radlett, collects, uses and protects personal information through personaltrainerradlett.com and in connection with personal-training enquiries, the Stronger For Longer booklet and services in Radlett, Elstree, Shenley and Aldenham.

Contact: Daniel@PersonalTrainerRadlett.com or 07740 336 384.

1. Information collected

Information may include your name, email address, telephone number, the service or resource you are interested in, the content of your message, appointment details, your email-marketing choice and any other information you choose to provide.

When you request the Stronger For Longer booklet, the form records your name, email address, the resource requested, the website used, the date of the submission and whether you selected the optional email-marketing box.

Please do not submit detailed medical records or sensitive health information through an initial website form. If health information is needed later to assess training suitability or safety, Daniel will request it separately and explain how it will be used and protected.

2. How the information is used

Your information is not sold to advertisers.

3. Booklet delivery and email marketing

Requesting the booklet does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. The booklet is made available after submission and is also sent automatically to the email address provided, whether or not you select the optional marketing box.

Daniel may send a service message needed to provide or respond to your request. Additional promotional emails will only be sent where you have separately opted in or another lawful exception applies. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by using the opt-out method in the email or by contacting Daniel. Opting out will not affect access to the booklet or personal-training services.

4. Lawful bases

5. Service providers and external services

The website is hosted by Netlify, and website-form submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms. A Netlify serverless function securely passes the information needed to Brevo, which is used to deliver the requested booklet, manage the relevant contact lists and send optional marketing where consent has been given. Brevo may record technical delivery information such as successful delivery, bounces, opens and link clicks depending on the account settings. Email, communications, booking, hosting, security and professional-service providers may otherwise process information only where needed to support the business.

The website also uses or links to third-party services such as Google Maps, Google-hosted fonts, Calendly, YouTube, Facebook and Amazon. When you load embedded content or follow an external link, that provider may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the page you visited. Their own privacy terms apply.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, advertising pixels or behavioural advertising cookies. Essential hosting, security or form-handling technologies may operate where necessary for the site to function. Embedded third-party content, particularly Google Maps, may use cookies or similar technologies under the provider's own policies.

7. Retention

Enquiry and booklet-request information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the resource, respond, maintain appropriate business records and deal with legal or insurance requirements. Routine enquiries that do not become client relationships are normally deleted within 24 months.

Where you opt in to marketing, your contact details and consent record may be kept while you remain subscribed and reviewed periodically. A minimal suppression record may be retained after you opt out so that your preference can be respected. Client, payment and tax records may need to be kept for longer where the law requires it.

8. Security and international processing

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information. Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, the provider's contractual and legal safeguards apply. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where consent is relied upon. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

To exercise a right or opt out of marketing, email Daniel@PersonalTrainerRadlett.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, services, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
